Karen Hughes: Retired Master Sergeant of 26 Years of Service

Master Sergeant Karen Hughes is recently retired from the U.S Army after 26 years of service. She has been inducted into the prestigious Sergeant Audie Murphy Club.

Retired Master Sergeant Karen Hughes' final assignment she served as the Transportation Branch Sergeant Major with Human Resources Command where she managed a population of soldiers that exceeded 15,000. Her duty assignments have included four deployments plus other duty stations that has taken her and her family around the world.

Master Sergeant Hughes has attended array of military schools and training courses including Small Group Instructor Trainer, Total Army Instructor Training, Support Operations Course Phase I and II, Mission Command, Equal Opportunity Course, Basic Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, Lean Six Sigma-Green Belt with Additional Skill Identifier and Demonstrated Senior Logistician.

Retired Master Sergeant Karen Hughes has been awarded numerous times for her service; Bronze Star and Meritorious Service Medal to name just a couple. Additionally, she holds a Bachelors in Human Resources Management from Columbia Southern University
